Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $85
90 minutes: $120

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Cupping Sports Massage

60 minutes: $90

Cupping Therapy is for the professional athlete to the average joe. Anyone who can handle some discomfort during a session and discolored skin after should try this technique. Cupping is done by creating a vacuum or suction within the cup and applied to certain areas of the body. Cupping is a release using suction to pull blood and fluid that is "stuck" to the surface layers of the dermis . The goal is to put it back into the bloodstream for processing.  The newly oxygenated blood then flows back into the area to promote healing. This increased blood flow can relieve muscles tension, release scar tissue, improve circulation,  and reduce inflammation. Great for Pre-event and Post-Event because cupping is non-invasive and non-fatiguing to the athlete. (example American Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps)

Something to keep in mind: the cups are definitely going to leave big, discoloration marks on your skin that can last anywhere from a few days to two weeks—so if that's not something you're interested in, maybe steer clear. Reason to avoid cupping are  if you’re on blood thinners, have trouble with bleeding or clotting, or you have an open wound and also those with very sensitive or thin skin.

Hot Stone Therapy

90 minutes: $145

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.
